the elegant osbourne suite

The Old Vicarage is set in 5 acres of woodland countryside for you and your family and friends to get creative with. A romantic, chilled, relaxed and alternative family run wedding venue.

A venue with a glistening stream babbling through the grounds, a children's play area, stepping stones, luxury accommodationglampingcamping, a Cave bar, rope swings over the stream offering a laidback and intimate space.

The Old Vicarage was created from the love of our beautiful rural setting and inspired by the wildlife and nature that calls us home. Open from April to Mid-October, our setting makes a stunning backdrop cross Spring, Summer and Autumn.

Set away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The splendour continues within the Vicarage

Within The Vicarage you are met with more splendour, a beautiful Oak hallway and doors bearing the trademark of Mousey Thompson the famous Yorkshire wood carver leading to the elegant Osbourne Suite.

With its magnificent marble fireplace, deep cornices and oak doors, this offers all the delights of a bygone age. In keeping with all this are the French doors at the end of the room providing an entrance to the extended patio and the stunning panoramic surroundings of the grounds down to the rivers edge and beyond.

A celebration in the osbourne suite

The Osbourne Suite holds 60 seated guests. 100 plus seated guests can be accommodated by attaching a small awning to the Osbourne Suite.

Bridal wedding entrance songs and processional music are a key part of any wedding ceremony; you can arrange a pianist to play our grand piano or other live music or bring your own.

The Osbourne Suite is also used for smaller functions for up to 40 guests such as Christenings, civil funerals etc.

"To Sue, Just a quick note to say thank you for your help with us achieving our dream wedding outside. The weather forecast of gales eventually didn’t stand in our way.
The gardens looked beautiful."
Many thanks,
Amanda and Carl
