Bomb Scare At The Old Vicarage

Panic at The Old Vicarage wedding venue, after Sue Jubb the owner found what appeared to be a buried explosive device. The device was found when digging out the bedding of the river Poulter.

The shallow river Poulter runs through the grounds of The Old Vicarage, making it a really popular wedding venue for couples looking for an outdoor / Glamping wedding venue.

After explaining what the device looked like to the fire brigade, they made the call to the bomb disposal unit.

After closer inspection from the bomb disposal unit, the explosive device turned out to be the battery pack from the original water wheel that was blown up in the 1950’s.
